The Academy can tailor wellness programs designed to fit your Institutional goals, as well as the specific goals and needs of staff members. These programs can ensure short term and long term stress reduction, and all the ensuing benefits that accompany said reduction. Other benefit is reduced workplace repetitive stress injuries (through mind/body awareness and gentle exercise), and an overall sense of well-being.
Classes may include slow and gently movements to enhance mindfulness, and can also include more “formal” meditation, to create a meditative space for the mind to quiet down. When the mind can quiet down, other bodily functions also quiet down, thereby reducing symptoms associated with stress and the resulting internal inflammation that comes with that stress.
Physical benefits include but are not limited to:

Besides the many physical benefits, some other demonstrable benefits of a regular practice include a increased ability to handle difficult situations, both in task performance as well as in inter personal work relationships. As stated above, the relaxed state of the mind and body can also reduce work place repetitive stress injuries, like carpal tunnel, and neck and back discomfort.
These programs are generally provided at your facility and at your convenience. They can be provided on a weekly or monthly basis, or at longer intervals.
