Tibetan massage, or Yug-Pa meaning “to rub”, is a deep oil massage where the amount of pressure is applied to the recipient´s level of tolerance. This type of bodywork emphasizes very slow, very long, and mindful strokes, and these strokes are done symmetrically on both sides of the body.
Yug-Pa increases and regulates circulation, and enhances psycho-physical relaxation. Another particularly beneficial aspect of this work is the abdominal massage portion of the treatment and its associated relief from many digestive disorders.
